Rapid Development of a Data Visualization Service in an Emergency Response

We present the design and development of a data visualization service (RAMPVIS) in response to urgent need support epidemiological modeling workflows during COVID-19 pandemic. Facing set demanding requirements several practical challenges, our small team volunteers had rely on existing knowledge components services computing, while thinking feet configuring composition adopting suitable approaches engineering. Through developing RAMPVIS service, we have gained useful experience ensuring conformation computing standards, enabling rapid early deployment, facilitating effective efficient maintenance operation with limited resources. This can be valuable ongoing effort for combating pandemic, provides blueprint when future needs visual analytics arise emergency response.
